GETTING TO SKELLEFTEÅ
Skellefteå is situated on the coast of the Baltic Sea, on the southern edge of Swedish Lapland. There are several options of travel to get here. To watch the beautiful Swedish landscape pass by when relaxing on a train is one way to experience our part of the world. If you want to travel with higher speed, flights arrive and depart several times a day at the local airport. Buses ply the majority of roads and from Stockholm the night-bus along the Swedish east coast is an alternative. If you have your own car the European route E4 stretches all through Sweden, passing Skellefteå.
AeroplaneFrom your home destination you travel to Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport (ARN) and then onwards to Skellefteå (SFT). The flight takes approximately one hour from Stockholm and from the airport there are bus and taxi services to take you to our holiday rental is just 20 minutes & the centre of Skellefteå, only 15 minutes away. Check in at the airport is only 30 minutes before departure and there are bus connections for all departures, except on Saturday when there is no bus service. Daily flights between Arlanda Airport in Stockholm and Skellefteå’s Airport:
